Thomas Billups is the Founder and President of Billups Homes Inc., a full-service builder of high-quality, sustainable, high-performing homes at affordable prices. Billups builds single-family homes, townhomes, and active adult homes that recognize the needs of communities long overlooked for new development.
Thomas is a Georgia-licensed Residential Light-Commercial Contractor and an EarthCraft Certified Builder. He serves on the Atlanta Technical College Construction Advisory Board and the boards of directors of the EarthCraft Council and the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, where he leads the Metro East Chapter.
Thomas holds an engineering degree from Auburn University, an MBA from Clark Atlanta University, and a Carpentry Diploma from Atlanta Technical College.
He is a Marine Corps veteran and a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. A skilled carpenter, he is a former board member, longtime volunteer, and contractor of record for Habitat for Humanity–DeKalb.
A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Thomas lives in Stone Mountain with his wife and 13-year-old son.
